Sekisui House Australia unveils penthouse collection at Callista on Park, West Village

Sekisui Ho​use Australia has released the penthouse collection at Callista on Park, the final residential building in its $1.6 billion West Village masterplan in Brisb​ane’s West End.

The 14-storey Callista on Park is the last opportunity for buyers to purchase within West Village, more than a decade after Seki​sui House first started shaping the former industrial site into one of inner-Brisb​ane’s most established mixed-use precincts.

The newly released sub-penthouses and penthouses, designed by Rothelowman, include three and four-bedroom configurations with additional multi-purpose rooms, with prices ranging from $5.2 million to more than $9 million.

The largest residences span around 350 sqm internally, complemented by generous outdoor terraces and expansive views across West End and toward the Brisbane CBD.

West Village Project Director Taku Hashimoto said the penthouse collection was intended to mark the culmination of the wider project.

“Callista on Park completes a vision more than ten years in the making, so it is only fitting that the penthouse collection is the pinnacle of that journey,” Hashimoto said.

“Rivalling the most prestigious homes in Brisbane, each residence offers a level of scale, privacy and outlook that is unique to West Village, with stunning views along the Melbourne Street precinct and to the Brisbane city skyline.”

The homes have been positioned as the most premium residences delivered within West Village to date.

Interiors will feature formal entry halls, custom lighting and joinery, vaulted ceilings, herringbone timber flooring and extensive use of natural stone.

Kitchens are centred around large marble island benches and include breakfast nooks, integrated appliances and butler’s pantries, while the residences will also feature custom wine rooms and substantial entertaining areas.

“The luxury is in both the detail and the sheer size of these residences,” Hashimoto said.

“The monolithic marble island in the kitchen is a striking centerpiece, with a dedicated breakfast nook, state-of-the-art integrated appliances and butler’s pantry matching beauty with functionality.”

Most bedrooms will have their own ensuite and walk-in robe, while the penthouses will include private secure access and up to three car spaces.

Callista on Park residents will also have access to a rooftop conservatory incorporating wildflowers and grassed areas, alongside an infinity pool, spa, barbecue areas, lounge and private dining room with chef’s kitchen.

Hutchinson Builders is delivering Callista on Park, which remains on track for completion in early 2027.

The removal of the project’s final crane in late August marked one of the last major construction milestones for West Village, which has steadily evolved into a genuine mixed-use neighbourhood rather than simply a collection of apartment buildings.

West Village is now home to more than 1,800 residents and 37 restaurants and retailers, including Harris Farm Markets and Woolworths, while the retained heritage buildings have become central to its dining, retail and cultural offering.

“West Village has transformed heritage buildings into an energetic inner-city neighbourhood that has become a retail, dining and cultural destination in its own right,” Hashimoto said.

The precinct sits around 800 metres from the Brisbane CBD, with South Bank, major hospitals, universities and schools also within easy reach.

While Callista on Park represents the final new residential release at West Village, Sekisui House still has two completed penthouses available in Allere Uno, which the developer says are suited to multigenerational living.

For Sekisui House, the completion of Callista will bring to an end one of its highest-profile Australian urban renewal projects.

The Japanese developer has now delivered more than 13,000 properties in Australia across apartment, mixed-use and masterplanned communities, with a local project pipeline valued at more than $17 billion.
