Winwood McKenzie is an award-winning Melbourne and Kyneton based architecture practice founded in 2011. We have extensive experience working on adaptive re-use projects, heritage renovations, multi-residential buildings, office fitouts, gallery spaces, and, experience in the development of strategic masterplans and feasibility studies. Our purpose is to inspire conversations, pioneer new practices in sustainability and re-use, and find solutions to contemporary issues through architecture.  We craft architecture that balances future functionality, sustainability, and beauty, taking care to consider how the lives of the people that interact with the architecture are improved. Winwood Mckenzie is working towards being a local leader in the sustainable design and refurbishment of buildings. In doing so, we create spaces that are enriched by the layering of existing and new – maximising the potential of what already exists whilst creating spaces for new stories and experiences to be created.
