Artist and author of Jeremyville, Jeremy Andrew, has sold his two-level penthouse in The Rex building at Potts Point for $1,565,000.

It had been listed with $1.4 million plus hopes through Brad Caldwell-Eyles of 1st City Hasemer and Calwell-Eyles Double Bay.

Located on Macleay Street, the sky home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a galley kitchen with Miele appliances.

The property boasts four metre high ceilings, a mature-garden terrace with harbour views.

There is also the exclusive use of the adjacent rooftop area of approximately 70 square metres.

The penthouse also has use of the building amenities including a pool, sauna and gym.

The Rex is a combined residential and retail complex of 165 apartments over nine levels.

Andrew purchased the property in 2005 for $945,000.

Andrew’s first job was a comic artist for the Sydney Morning Herald, and has since worked with the likes of MTV, Adidas, Diesel, Converse and Reed Space Gallery in New York.

Andrew splits his time between his studio in Bondi Beach Sydney and in Soho New York where his creative and life partner, Megan Mair plan to spend more time.
