TAB Developments is a developer that is currently managing a project on the 155-year-old London Hotel site. The project caused some controversy as the pub has occupied a prime corner location on Port Melbourne's waterfront for quite some time. Initially knocked back by Victoria's planning tribunal and the Port Phillip Council, the permit application from TAB Developments for an eight-storey apartment block has now been given approval. The proposed apartment building will stand at 25.5 metres and will be located at 92 Beach Street in Port Melbourne. The project has been designed by Ewert Leaf architects.
