Brisbane's Bulimba is undergoing a bit of a renewal phase.

Boutique developer Engage Group is the latest developer to join the transformation, submitting new apartment plans for the riverside suburb.

They're planning a boutique shoptop housing development at 102 Oxford Street, just four apartments above a street-level shop which will complement the mixed-use offerings on Oxford Street.

<a href="/architects/dah-architecture">DAH Architecture</a>&nbsp;has put together for the building on a vacant 610 sqm site that is just down the road from the Bulimba ferry terminal and opposite Bulimba Memorial Park.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Each apartment will have three bedrooms and four bathrooms, as well as tandem parking for each unit. The two upper-level apartments have their own private rooftop terraces with a terrace, outdoor kitchen, firepit area, and plunge pool.

Bulimba has long been a sought-after suburb in Brisbane, particularly known for its large, modern houses. It is now undergoing a transformation, with a wave of new apartments and new commercial developments driving its growth.

Earlier this year Shayher Group <a href="/news/qld/first-look-exclusive-shayher-group-file-for-first-stage-of-bulimba-barracks">revealed the first stage</a> of its multi-stage masterplanned development, Bulimba Barracks.

The first stage is for two low-rise apartment buildings with <a href="/new-apartments/bulimba-barracks-stage-1-167-apollo-road-bulimba">69 apartments on Apollo Road</a>, separated by a laneway from the fabrication workshop which will be restored.

Also this year, Bellevue Queensland <a href="/news/qld/rare-opportunity-to-buy-on-the-brisbane-river-as-apollo-bulimba-apartments-launch">launched Apollo Bulimba</a> on the riverfront Byron Street, just 12 apartments, while down the road architect cum developer Joe Adsett has <a href="/news/qld/first-look-exclusive-joe-adsett-partners-with-zephyr-group-for-luxury-bulimba-apartment-development-palais-bulimba">teamed up with Zephyr Group</a> to deliver 13 apartments.
