Dyldam was founded in 1969 by Naim Khattar and Joe Khattar, who began with apartments in Sydney throughout the 1970s. They have since expanded into a multi-million dollar Australian business after a range of large-scale projects like the first mixed-use development called the Entrada Residential & Retail in Parramatta in 2010 and the precinct re-zoning for 1,041 apartments in Carlingford in 201. CEO Mr. Joe Khattar was awarded the Australia Day Honours in 2012 and the Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Award High rise – Metro Apartments Development category in 2016. Their two latest projects are the Cucina Waitara, a six-level mid-rise at 1-3 Balmoral Street in Waitara, and a similar style building called The Lennox at 2 Cowan Street in Mount Colah.
