Bridgeland Investment is an Australian corporation set up and funded by an unnamed Chinese billionaire from the petrochemical industry in China. He made waves in Australia by buying a 5729-square-metre site at 85-87 Douglas Street for a record price for the suburb of $10 million. The site was chosen to build a mansion from scratch on a record-price piece of land in St Ives, in the north of Sydney. The company has expanded to a second project, the Emerald, located at 16 Hazlewood Place in Epping, which will house 38 apartments upon completion.
